Funds for Ohio ACE expire when one of the following conditions are met:
- An eligible child turns 19.
- An eligible child graduates from high school.
- September 30th, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST.
Parents and guardians have the opportunity to submit receipts or invoices to Merit until September 2024 for years 1, 2, and 3 of the program. The federal funds allocated for Ohio ACE have an expiration date. If there are any remaining funds after September 30th, 2024, without associated receipts or invoices, those funds will expire. Dates of service must be no later than September 30, 2024.
It’s noted that the possibility of extending the expiration date beyond September 30th, 2024, exists, but any such extension will only be confirmed closer to that time in the following year so claims should not be held in anticipation of that.
