- Assessment/Registration fees

- Electronics, such as computers, tablets, calculators, etc. (Nothing that plugs
into an outlet or requires batteries). - Career and Technical Education
- Credit-bearing courses applicable towards a degree.
- Instrument Lesson Category Exclusions:
- Musical Instruments (rental fees in association with lessons are permissible)
- Recital Fees/Vocal Performances.
- Claims submitted where the Service Provider is a parent/guardian or family member of the child who received the services are not reimbursable (learn more).
- Claims for service providers that do not meet the program requirements (learn more).
- Subscriptions/memberships (for homeschool families) for items physically delivered after September 1, 2025 (Program close date) are not allowable.
- However, the amount can be prorated if paid to the parent for items delivered on or before September 1, 2025.
NOTE: Funds must be used for eligible activities or goods occurring no later than September 1, 2025. The only exception is for parents or guardians seeking reimbursement for an eligible field trip to Washington, D.C., a trip deposit paid for by the parent or guardian by September 1, 2025, and scheduled to occur by October 2025.
